The book is well put together and seems like it will hold up quite well. The pages are cleanly scanned but the (many) photos have lost a little definition in the reproduction. The content is what it is.

This is very informative regarding the life and times of the early Alaska mining processes, and the people and organizations involved - all straight from the horse's mouth - written at the time. I was born in Nome and occasionally write a bit on my past life there. My grandfather was in Nome in 1904. This book confirms some of his tales and adds historical context to my time in Alaska. This book is a digital reprint from the original.
